2026 season
Registration
Three divisions, grades 2 through 8, every skill level welcome. Here is what to check before you sign up, what your child will need, and what to do if the fee is a problem.
Register on SportsEngineCheck your child is eligible
Divisions go by age and weight, and both are league rules rather than ours. The table below is the quick version; the full bylaw wording is on the rules page.
Register online
Registration runs through SportsEngine. You will need your child’s date of birth and school grade, and contact details for at least one guardian.
Collect equipment and weigh in
In August, players are issued a helmet, shoulder pads and practice kit, and are weighed in. Bring cleats and a mouthpiece — those are yours to supply.
Start practice
Practices are three evenings a week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Your coach confirms your own team’s times.

Registration runs through SportsEngine, which is also where your team's schedule and messages from your coach will live once the season starts. Setting the account up now means schedule changes reach you directly rather than second-hand.
Current fees are shown on the registration form. If cost is a concern, read the scholarship section below first — the club offers full and partial scholarships and payment plans, and the conversation is confidential.

Eligibility
Which division is my child in?
Placement is by age and weight, both set by the league for player safety. Being over a weight limit does not put your child out of the program — each division has a rule for that, and they are on the rules page.

Financial aid
Cost should not decide who plays
Lower Cape Bluefins provides registration fee scholarships to local athletes who would not otherwise be able to play. The aim is simply to get as many young people onto the field as possible, for the physical, mental and character-building side of the game.
Assistance depends on the funds available and the need shown, and is offered at the club’s discretion. Funds are limited.
Full scholarship
The registration fee covered in full.
Partial scholarship
Part of the registration fee covered.
Payment plan
The fee split across more than one payment.
